i. want. a. new. layout. (actually, if anybody can help me change even just the header of this page, i'm ok with it).

anyway, less this blog gets tampuhin or selosohin (wha, it actually has an identity?!), i'm posting a pic of charlie.



funny, there were 2 people who mistook him as an actual boy. can't blame them, what with this introduction in my email to them:
"MEET CHARLIE.
charlie is a good friend of mine that i met about 3 weeks ago. i've already seen him before with another friend of mine, pero nung 3 weeks ago lang kami nagkakilala talaga. he's kinda old, pero ok naman ang relationship namin. right now he's taking me to school, tapos hinihintay nya ako, tapos hinahatid nya ako pauwi. how sweet. syempre, i hope na magiging ok pa rin kami long-term, but who knows, right?
ahem.
syempre i'm talking about my new CAR!! (hehe, corny)"

charlie's working fine right now. at first, i thought he was having problems, since i heard noises while driving him. ba't umiingay pag tumatakbo sya, tapos pag nakahinto, nawawala? turns out, the noise came from the steel spikes in his rear snow tires. gaga talaga ako minsan.

hey there! it's the new year! and what's this --- has it been really a year since i started this thing?

as mentioned in my previous entry, i did come up with a new blog (with the help of my sis). here it is!! michenken.blogspot.com ... i'm kinda lazy right now to put it in my links page, but it WILL pop up there. just wait, hihi...

anyhoo, that blog will lean more on the fun external side. it will continue to be personal, but notice i mentioned external. simply put, it will feature things that are happening to me, or stuff that i've been doing. i suppose there will be more pictures there (a definite refreshing change from the monotonous words and phrases). i hope it will be more interesting to my readers, as i've noticed i tend to be serious with THIS blog. admittedly, it does appear boring (even to me), because they feature reflections, musings.. that is why i have to persist in this writing here, because it is represents another part of me -- the pensive part.

i applaud the readers who continue to take the time to read here. i believe it takes a certain state of mind (demented, patient, whatever) to tolerate the nonsennse/logic i happen to just write in this blog (yes, forever cynically hopeful). of course, i encourage you to visit the other one as well :)

on hindsight, i realize it is an added work - studies, a club (more on that on later entries), work, a new blog... i hope to make a layout for this blog as well)... dear gosh, what am i thinking???

............ but what the heck. we'll just wing it for the time being. that said, happy new year again. i pray and wish all of us the best of 2006.
